Not quite driven out

Heddon Greta is a small town near Maitland.
Frankly, there's not much to see in Heddon Greta, but it does have a drive-in cinema:



Despite its derelict appearance, it is one of the very few remaining operational drive-ins in Australia.
Still, I can't imagine it offers anything like the Penrith Starline in its heyday:
The drive-in also had its own DJ that would play the current hits before the show. Go-Go girls performed on the terrace outside the snack bar or Tom and Jerry cartoons were run to entertain the audience.

This evening has a 6.15 pm screening – still daylight, which sort of defeats the purpose – of some dodgy-looking Jackie Chan comedy, followed by Alice in Wonderland and Clash of the Titans.
I think we'll give it a miss, although I do appreciate the helpful note they added to the bottom of their signage, just in case your viewing experience is less than satisfactory:
