The neighbourhood jacarandas are in full bloom. Some of them, anyway.
I noticed on yesterday's Suzi-walk that the ones along the river have kicked in:
We're still waiting for the big one next door to go off, but in the meantime the bougainvillea we planted by the house has more than compensated:
It's also provided Suzi with her favourite outdoor nap spot (she's fond of a cosy corner):
While we're in the garden, I wanted to share a first – the excitement of planting one of those "mixed" flower packets and, months later, actually getting more than two species:
